Grandview Public School

My name is Darci Merritt. My husband, Ben, is retired and enjoys fishing at Lake Fork, TX. We have two daughters, Kayleigh, who attends Waurika High School, and Loralei, who still attends Grandview. Both of my girls grew up here and began attending Grandview when they were 3 years old. This school has been like a second home to them.

I began teaching in 2005, and I’ve been at Grandview since 2007. I’ve taught Pre-K & Kindergarten since 2014. 

I graduated from Cameron University in 2004 with my BS in Elementary Education. In 2008, I earned my Early Childhood Certification. In 2010, I graduation from Cameron University with my MS in Elementary Education. Currently, I’m pursuing another MS degree in Library Media at East Central University, and I will graduate this December. 

I’m looking forward to building the Library Resource page into a place full of useful information. I will also be working on revamping the physical library at our school, too, in the near future.
